Illusions Exhibition

Mosaic Art Collective announces an open call for our first 2025 show, Illusions. This exhibition seeks work that challenges perceptions. Whether an optical illusion, anamorphic, surrealism, blacklight art—the exploration of illusion is the focus. Artwork for this show should invite viewers to question reality and the ways we interpret the world around us.

Submissions are now open! We eagerly await your creative contributions. The submission deadline is January 24, 2025, at 11:59 PM.

Submission fees should not be a barrier to entry. If for any reason you need accommodations to access this call, please email info@mosaicartcollective.com and we are happy to work with you.

PLEASE NOTE: For this art call and going forward, we will be accepting submission fee payments through our website rather than through the Art Call site directly. In order to complete your entry to the show, you must submit the work itself here at Art Call and separately pay the submission fees for those works at this link.


Important Dates to Remember

EXHIBITION DATES: February 3 - February 26, 2025

ONLINE SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, January 24, 2025, 11:59 PM

ACCEPTANCE NOTIFICATION: Sunday, January 26, 2025, by 9:00 PM

ARTWORK DROP OFF: Thursday, January 30th, 2-6 PM, and Friday, January 31st, 2-6 PM

OPENING RECEPTION: Saturday, February 8th, 2025, 4-8 PM

ARTWORK PICK UP: Thursday, February 27th, 2-6 PM, and Friday, February 28th, 2-6 PM

You are responsible for picking up unsold artwork at the end of the exhibition at the place and time designated by Mosaic Art Collective above, in the Exhibition Prospectus under Important Dates to Remember. If you are unable to pick up your unsold artwork at the designated place and time, you must notify the Mosaic Art Collective on or before the pickup date and make alternative arrangements to pick up your artwork within seven (7) days of the designated pick-up date. Any artwork left with Mosaic Art Collective eight (8) or more days after the designated pick-up date will be subject to a $10.00 per day storage fee per piece. Any artwork left with Mosaic Art Collective for more than 15 days after the designated pick-up date becomes the property of the Mosaic Art Collective. You retain ownership of your artwork until the artwork is sold or abandoned.


Guidelines to Follow

ELIGIBILITY: Everyone

LOCATION: Mosaic Art Collective, 66 Hanover St, Suite 201, Manchester, NH 03101

EXHIBIT FEE: $10 for each submission. Limit of 4 submissions.

COMMISSION STRUCTURE: Sales are not guaranteed. When sales do occur, artists retain 75%, and Mosaic Art Collective retains 25% of the sale price.

2D framed work or with intentional edges.

3D work may hang on the wall, from the ceiling, or be displayed on a pedestal.

All work must be ready to hang, with the proper hanging wires. If you are not familiar with wiring your work, please review the proper way to wire with d-rings and picture-hanging wire. This will ensure the longevity of your work and will make it more appealing to potential buyers.

NO sawtooth hangers.

All work must be created within the last 5 years.

No AI-generated artwork.

All artists exhibiting at Mosaic Art Collective must adhere to our presentation and framing guidelines, as outlined above. Mosaic Art Collective may reject any work that is not delivered in the correct time frame without prior arrangements.
